We went for a drive Friday to F'ton. Went to Kings Place - bought some stones and crystals for me and for one who needs it for her kids and then saw Van's friend Crystal at work. Then popped over to surprise Tyler, froze ourselves standing outside talking and then went up the hill to the f'ton mall - or the shell formerly known as the f'ton mall, and then on to Regent mall and back home again. Overall a great day. It's been along time since we'd gone for a drive - it was very nice.
I'm getting the itch to do a drive to Hfx - just a day trip and I know mom's been wanting to go too - she's past hinting and just outright asking when I'm going. I think I could easily make a girls day trip out of it - maybe around my bday - just down and back - it will depend on the weather and my stamina - lately I have none.
Came back last night and watched the Night Court DVD that Van got for xmas. Pretty funny stuff.
Tonight, we watched the pilot eposodes of The Flash and Dead Like Me. Both were okay. I'll have to watch another episode or two of each to determine whether or not they are something I'll be glad to say I own the series of! :) I really found DLM confusing, but I guess it's suppossed to be.
The kitten is the stinkiest thing! All she does is fart! Makes me smell good!
Tomorrow, we are planning on it being an R&R "musical day" with watching the Divine Madness DVD I got for xmas as well as the Queen - Live at Wembley DVD that Van got for xmas and maybe even Chicago or Ray dvd. Didn't get those for xmas, but for the boxing week specials - ray $5.99 and Chicago - $7.99. Currently, we're watching/listening to the Tesla dvd. I'm so happy to see Van really into it and really enjoying it - singing along and leaning forward intently. Yay me for picking a good xmas present!
I want to do a bit of re-arranging in the house the next couple of days, but Van wants to rest and relax, so I'll have to do it covertly so he won't feel it necessary to do it all or even d it with me. I'll go through and throw alot out which generally stresses him out. It's time to clean house and throw out what I haven't used in the past year - no sense keeping it and wasting space with it if I haven't used it in a year. :)
Already started the re-arranging today, because Van moved the sheet music cabinet up to beside the piano for me from the spare room. I'd like to take down all the decorations in the next couple of days and move things back to rights, but he wants to wait until jan 1 to do that, but then we won't be off! ah well. when it gets done, it gets done :)
I shouldn't be so tried, but I am - we didn't get up until noon today, slept 12 hours, but still ready for bed at midnight. sad. I'm such an old fuddy duddy!

Do you take Halloween decorations down on October 29th? No, then you don't take New Year's decorations down before Jan.1st.
Also I get stressed when you throw things out because we have lots of storage space and come the summer you will cry when looking for the item that you threw out in the winter. I had to do the same in the past and since we don't have to why do it?
