Boom

So, this past Thursday night was a bit of a weird night. As I went to bed and tried to settle, I found that I was feeling 'buzzy' - restless (usual) and the chakras were buzzing. I did fall asleep and was having weird dreams. Can't remember all of them, but there was a dream about mom and dad's house. I was woken up very suddenly at 3:57a.m. by what can only decribe as a very loud "Boom". Like an exlosion, or like there was a sonic boom from the sound barrier being broken. The boom was very loud and then there was kind of a sucking noise after it as is the air was being sucked out of the city. As we live close to the mill, the first thing that went through my mind was that the Pulp Mill blew up and we were going to die, but Van never woke up. He's normally a very light sleeper, and I couldn't beleive he hadn't sat straight up over it like I did! I linked a few times, put my hand on his shoulder and just tried to calm my breathing. Then, the thought of mom and dad's house came in my mind again, but it was fleeting as I then started to wrack my brain as to what the boom could have been from. After about 5 minutes and literally, not one other sound in this city was made, I got up to go to the bathroom and as son as I got up from the side of the bed, Van woke up. Odd. He woke up as soon as I moved from the bed, but not for that massive sonic boom?!

It was in the bathroom that I started to wonder if it was part of a dream. It certainly didn't seem like it. I heard the fadings of the boom after I was awake, as well as the sucking out of the air, so I really didn't think so, but there was no other explanation. I went to every window in the house and saw nothing out of the ordinary, so went back to bed and basically tried ot come to terms that it was something I dreamt up.

Friday, my mother informed me that 6 young men were arrested on their property in the wee hours of the morning. These guys had tried to get in to a couple of the houses in the neighbourhood, but were picked up on their property by the police, around about 4am. hmmm... mom said that they didn't notice any damage to their property. So, I'm thinking the boom was them getting caught. I hope so at least! Upon learning of the events that happened, I told Spirit that I'm listening again, so Spirit doesn't literally have to blow out my ear drums to get my attention or to get me to hear!!! :)
